FAQ
FAQ ~ Gems
1) What is Lab Grown Diamond
Lab-grown diamonds, also known as synthetic diamonds or cultured diamonds, are diamonds that are created in a laboratory setting rather than being mined from the Earth. These diamonds have essentially the same chemical composition, crystal structure, optical properties, and physical properties as natural diamonds formed deep within the Earth's mantle.
2) What is Moissanite?
Moissanite is a gemstone that has gained popularity as an alternative to diamonds. It is composed of silicon carbide and is renowned for its brilliance, fire, and durability. Originally discovered in a meteor crater in Arizona by Nobel Prize-winning scientist Dr. Henri Moissan, moissanite is now synthesized in laboratories to produce gem-quality stones.
3) Can you tell the difference between a lab grown diamond vs moissanite?
Absolutely! While it can be challenging to distinguish between lab grown diamonds, moissanites, and natural diamonds to the untrained eye, there are distinct advantages to opting for lab grown diamonds and moissanites. Not only are they visually indistinguishable from natural diamonds, but they also offer superior value, ethical sourcing, and eco-friendly production methods. Plus, with our expert craftsmanship and attention to detail, you'll receive a stunning piece of jewelry that rivals its natural counterpart at a fraction of the cost. Embrace the brilliance of lab grown diamonds and moissanites with confidence, knowing you're making a sustainable and savvy choice.
